The Morning Chores
My wife Hana and I have a small farm in the mountains of southwestern PA. We have three children– Rosie, Henry and Simon. My head is almost constantly in the space of doing the morning chores. You know that feeling? The air is crisp and fresh. The animals are sleepy. And while you’re throwing out hay, your mind is working through all the problems in your life and in the world. And all is quiet and sort of makes sense — if you could only make it happen.
